Desert Sky is a hand thrown bowl with square windows cut out along the sides of the bowl. The glaze is a grayish brown with purple undertones and white dots of stars in a desert sky. A clay spider and several glazed stones  appear in the windows. The stones are attached to a narrow handwoven band that is inserted  around the bowl's interior. The bottom of the bowl is a cutout circle in which lies a circular weaving of textured yarns with black clay beads on the inside of the bowl. The diameter of the bowl measures 9" with a depth of 6". The clay bowl is created by Memphis potter Patricia Schwarz and the handwoven bands and woven circular element are by Felicitas Sloves.  Shipping within the United States is free.
